Benexology: Our Six-Stage Process
Our process-driven approach, is the governing path we work through with clients to develop executive and key-employee reward systems that obtain optimum outcomes. This process unfolds in six stages:
In this first step we establish objectives, identify design concerns, and understand your values and vision within which we will work. We share what we do and how we can help you on your journey. Together, we’ll identify what needs to get done by whom, discuss associated costs, and memorialize key points in an Agreement.
2. Initial Design
In Stage 2, we spend time gathering data necessary for initial design—eligibility, financial position, tax status, and potential plan options.
3. Benefit Security and Funding Concepts.
Here we review benefit security issues in light of their financial impact to the business as well as participants. What happens in a change in control, change of heart, or bankruptcy? How will the plan impact earnings, the balance sheet and cash flow?
4. Final Design
In this stage, we prepare a final design for review by the board of directors or the business owner.
In stage 5, we work with your counsel to draft documents and prepare enrollment materials. Importantly, we also conduct enrollment meetings with eligible participants where we educate them on the value of the plan and how it might work within their overall goals.
6. Administration and Monitoring
We work with your team to determine insource capabilities and workload. If internal resources are not available, then Benexit, with its pool of national relationships and vendors, will help you design an effective and cost-effective administration program that meets your needs.
